We like to describe Reiki as an energetic modality that connects the pure energy between people and things. It is the directional use of energy that we feel, see and experience all around us in connection with a person’s individual life force energy that is harnessed for the purpose of healing and peace of mind.

Reiki energy is centered around the chakra system and uses a series of hand positions and sacred symbols to draw energy through an attuned practitioner to the subject of healing, be that a person, object or even a situation. It can be practiced on oneself, others, pets, and things. It can be offered through the laying on of hands or distantly through intent. 

Reiki energy is beneficial for healing and a sense of peaceful well-being. It encourages an awareness and connection to the soul’s purpose and the flow of life.

Love Light Ki Online Community Circles create a unique environment to engage in the Reiki energy for practitioners and guests. Guest Circles are open to all members and hosted by a Reiki Master They include an introduction to Reiki, singing, a guided meditation, and an offering by the Reiki Master host(s) to guests. Practitioner Community Circles offer a similar format with singing, guided meditation, and an offering by the Reiki Master host(s), as well as a guided practice of self-offered hand positions. Each session ends with sharing and feedback to support the community experience.

Yes. Reiki practitioners are trained and certified in Reiki symbols, hand positions and attuned to the Reiki energy commensurate with the level of training. The traditions are passed down from Reiki Grand Masters Mikao Usui and Dr. Chijiro Hayashi. Reiki Masters are also certified to teach and host energy circles. While schools of Usui Reiki vary in the nuances of how they teach, the fundamentals are consistent.

We offer private sessions online and in person (in San Francisco). In person sessions are done on a table or a chair and include light, hands on touch on the head and body. Guests remain clothed at all times during a session.

Online sessions can be conducted via zoom or phone. Guests should be in a quiet place with limited distractions to get the most benefit.
